First Baptist Christian School of Marble Falls held its TeamKaren Fundraising Kick Off Parade on Friday, Sept. 23rd. Infants through 5th graders dressed in pink and green, spun their decorated strollers, trikes and bikes around the parking lot and ate snowcones to launch their efforts to raise awareness and research funds for inflammatory breast cancer. Each elementary student made personal signs in support of Karen and IBC research, and the CDC students made hats, decorations and noise makers for the parade.
FBCS students have raised over $7,500 the past two years and are looking forward to making a significant contribution again this year! “Go TeamKaren, Go TeamKaren!” they chanted!
